Everything's Fine
What’s your silver lining? Even when a cloud blocks the sun, you can sometimes still see the bright outline of the sun on the edges of that cloud. Which is what I took from the idiom. While your days may be 100x crazier I hope you can still find that silver lining, or gin spiked lemonade. Same thing.
My in-law’s have been here keeping our ship afloat since the birth of Clark, and they’ve been a life saver. Since we couldn’t see friends during these “stay at home” home days, luckily we got to spend much needed togetherness with our family.
We’re also very thankful to have my family so close-by. My sister came over one day to help stamp Clarks feet since FMH doesn’t do footprints at the hospital anymore ;( of course Clare had to get in on it too!
So luckily (or not so lucky) we bought a fixer upper home two years ago and the first room we started renovating is almost done! Woohoo! We have projects on projects to complete so we’re never bored around here. Although Shawn is working 7 days a week (he’s a tax accountant) and after dinner he retires to his basement office, we still find time to work on the house and in the yard. Again, luckily we have our parents so closely to help. We couldn’t do it (or be motivated) without them.
So if you’ve made it this far, thank you so looking at all these boring pics of our everyday lives. I actually wanted to take this opportunity to tell you that I have a new and updated website. You should check it out to see all the updated photos we added and there’s also session pricing for anyone that is interested.
Update on operating as a safe business: Since I am not considered essential by the government I will not be shooting sessions for the extent of April. I hope that that date does not get extended any longer because I need human interaction! We can still book shoots for after the 30th if you’d like to get on my calendar.
I hope this reaches everyone healthy, can’t wait to see you on the other side! I’m going to leave you with this quote that I just heard in a song that really stood out to me. xoxo, Steph
